Position Summary The Associate Research Analyst supports research and analysis projects by collecting, organizing, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights. This role is entry-level and designed for individuals with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills who are eager to contribute to research activities, reporting, and decision-making support across the organization.
Key Responsibilities - Research & Data Collection
- Gather and compile data from primary and secondary sources (databases, surveys, reports, etc.).
- Conduct literature reviews, market research, and background analysis on relevant topics.
- Support the design and execution of surveys, questionnaires, and research instruments.
- Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Assist in preparing research reports, presentations, and visualizations.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness before analysis.
- Collaboration & Support
- Work closely with senior research analysts and managers on ongoing projects.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and provide input on methodologies.
- Support cross-functional teams by providing data-driven insights for projects or strategies.
- Documentation & Quality Control
- Maintain well-organized records of research processes, methodologies, and findings.
- Ensure compliance with research protocols, ethical standards, and confidentiality agreements.
- Assist in preparing documentation for audits or external reviews if required.
Qualifications - Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Business, Public Health, or a related field.
- Master's degree preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience:
- 0-2 years of experience in research, data analysis, or related fields (internships included).
- Familiarity with research methodologies, survey tools, and statistical analysis.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and basic statistical software (SPSS, R, Stata, or Python preferred).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
