Job Description
Role: Data Engineer
Location: 100% Remote
Employment Type: Long-term Contract
Required Skills:
- Design and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes
- Extract, transform, and load structured and unstructured data
- Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and engineers to deliver clean, well-organized datasets
- Work with cloud data tools and distributed systems
- Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize workflows
- Proficiency in Python or Scala for data processing
- Good understanding of SQL and database design
- Exposure to ETL tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Informatica, Talend)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS , GCP , or Azure (a plus)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
