The Learning Depot is seeking a Bilingual (Spanish/English) Floating Substitute Teacher to support our classrooms and provide high-quality care and education to our students. This flexible role allows you to step into various classrooms as needed, ensuring continuity and a positive learning experience for all children.
Responsibilities: - Provide classroom coverage across multiple age groups when staff are absent.
- Support children’s social, emotional, and academic growth in both English and Spanish.
- Maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure smooth daily transitions.
Requirements:
- Fluent in Spanish & English
- Eligible to obtain a NJ Substitute Certificate (required for district substitute assignments)
- Previous experience in childcare, early childhood education, or teaching preferred.
- Reliable, flexible, and enthusiastic about working with children.
Compensation:
- Pay is dependent on availability and credentials.
- Higher pay available for full-time candidates and those credentialed with a Substitute Certificate.
