Create graphic, visual layouts of monument artwork using Gerber Omega CAD software, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop. Every day, in our fabrication shop, your design work will be sandblasted and laser etched into cemetery monuments which will be installed in cemeteries in western Pennsylvania and across the country. Candidate will also create shop drawings and diagrams of custom shaped monuments using Gerber Omega. Candidate will edit and process photographic images for laser etchings and create laser etching designs as well.
Position demands strict attention to detail and candidate must possess strong work ethic and ability to use measuring tape and understand simple fractions and simple math. Good spelling and typing skills are required. Candidate should also possess or currently be pursuing an Associate degree or Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Design, Graphic Design, or other relevant field. Prior relevant work experience is helpful but not required. Other relevant position titles include: CAD Designer, CAD Drafter, Computer Aided Designer, Mechanical Drafter, Graphic Designer, and Industrial Designer. Starting salary negotiable and will be competitive and commensurate with education, work history, skill-set, and experience.
Shift: M-F 9am - 5pm; 8 hours with paid 1/2 hour lunch.
