Job Description
Per-Diem Position.
The CNA works in the Hospice 14 bed inpatient unit located at
3100 Staunton Road Huntington WV. Duties:
- Performs and/or assists the patient with personal care activities as prescribed on the plan of care.
- Performs and/or assists the patient/family with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
- Reports patient status changes to the interdisciplinary team as needed.
- Maintains current and accurate documentation.
- Complies with policies and procedures of Hospice of Huntington, Inc.
- Protects the confidentiality of private health care information of patients.
- Represents the services and philosophy of Hospice of Huntington, Inc.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate is preferred.
- Proof of nursing assistant certification.
- Minimum of 1-year experience, preferred.
- Current driver’s license, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Philosophy is compatible with the hospice concept.
