Commercial Lines Account Manager
Middleton, MA | Hybrid (WFH 1 Day per Week)
$65,000–$85,000 + Excellent Benefits

About the Role:
As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, you'll manage a generalist middle-market book of business, with average premiums around $50,000 and some as high as $200,000. This is a "soup to nuts" role where you’ll handle every aspect of the client relationship from quoting and marketing to binding, coverage review, renewals, and servicing. The agency uses AMS360, and Account Managers are empowered to take full ownership of their accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse book of middle-market commercial accounts across multiple industries
- Provide full-service account management including quoting, coverage review, gap analysis, marketing, and policy issuance
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, underwriters, and carriers
- Proactively manage renewals, endorsements, audits, and certificates of insurance
- Identify and address potential coverage gaps and present appropriate solutions
- Utilize AMS360 and other agency tools to maintain accurate records and workflow
- Collaborate closely with Producers and team members to ensure excellent client service
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of Commercial Lines Account Management experience (5 or more years preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of insurance coverages, carriers, and markets
- Proficiency with AMS360 is strongly preferred
- Proven ability to manage accounts independently from start to finish
- Excellent communication, organizational, and client-service skills
- Active Massachusetts P&C license required
