Job Description
As a CDL Driver, you’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a commercial garbage truck. You’ll handle local roll-off, residential, and/or commercial routes, ensuring timely and courteous waste collection. Our ideal candidate has excellent time management and organizational skills, and previous driving experience. Responsibilities:
- Operate a commercial refuse truck safely and efficiently
- Follow assigned routes and schedules for trash, recycling, or yard waste pickup
- Inspect vehicles daily and report any maintenance issues
- Interact professionally with customers and team members
- Comply with all DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Complete route paperwork and logs accurately
Qualifications:
- You need the ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds for this role
- Must have a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) and a clean driving record
- Must have graduated high school or received equivalency (GED)
- Must possess great time management skills and communication skills
