Our client is seeking a seasoned Construction Superintendent with a strong background in ground-up K-12 school construction to lead field operations on high-profile public and charter school projects throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex . This is an opportunity to join a reputable, well-capitalized General Contractor with a strong pipeline of institutional work and a track record of delivering complex educational facilities on time and under budget.
Oversee all field operations from site development through final punch list
Manage and coordinate subcontractors , vendors , and field personnel to ensure safety, quality, and schedule compliance
Serve as the on-site representative for the GC and main point of contact with the owner’s rep , architects , and construction managers
Ensure compliance with Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) requirements, ADA , and local building codes
Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce strict adherence to OSHA standards and company safety policies
Develop and maintain 3-week look-ahead schedules in coordination with the Project Manager and update master schedule accordingly
Lead weekly subcontractor meetings and document jobsite progress using Procore , Bluebeam , and other construction management tools
Coordinate inspections with AHJs and ensure all required testing, commissioning, and closeout procedures are completed
7+ years of experience as a Superintendent on K-12, higher education , or municipal projects
Proven experience managing ground-up public school projects over $10M
Deep knowledge of concrete, structural steel, tilt-wall , and interior buildout
Strong understanding of school district protocols , bond program delivery , and coordination with third-party inspectors
Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to run a tight, professional jobsite
Tech-savvy: proficient in Procore , Bluebeam , Microsoft Project , and digital daily reporting
OSHA 30 certification required; First Aid/CPR preferred
Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Dallas-Fort Worth area
Experience with CMAR , Design-Bid-Build , and Fast Track delivery methods
Familiarity with Charter School and ISD projects (e.g., Dallas ISD, Fort Worth ISD, Frisco ISD, etc.)
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required
Competitive base salary - up to $150,000
