What will you do on the team?
The Corporate Counsel provides operational legal support, advice, and assistance as required by specific areas of Bupa Global Latin America (BGLA) on a wide variety of legal matters, including without limitation:
And additionally:
💙Providing strategic legal leadership to the specific business areas in order to support the business to achieve agreed outcomes and to ensure adherence to corporate and legal requirements.
💙 Support in organizing, managing and maintaining corporate matters locally in the U.S. and with subsidiaries throughout Latin America and Caribbean.
💙 Anticipating and identifying legal risks and issues raised in business initiatives and projects, including contractual pursuits.
What do you need?
🎓 Education: J.D. or LL.M from a U.S. accredited law school and/or J.D. equivalent aboard with eligibility to be a member of a State Bar in the U.S.
🌱 Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience in in-house Legal department setting, preferably within a global organization.
🌍 Languages: English and Spanish
👉 Other skills and knowledge: Experience of delivering and executing complex legal analysis, ideally within the international insurance industry or similar industry.
