Job Description
We are currently looking to fill several Diesel Mechanic positions with a Tulsa Company. Great Company Benefits!
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Diesel/Heavy Duty Vehicle Mechanic.
Starting Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Mid and Overnight Shifts- Regular Overtime Including up to 12 Hour Shifts and Saturdays Required.
This is a full time, temp to hire position with a Tulsa sanitation company. Permanent employees can expect FREE medical insurance after waiting period.
Essential Job Responsibilities: - Performs preventative and routine maintenance on diesel vehicles.
- Protect yourself, your co-workers, and your company by maintaining a safe work environment. Keep work areas clean and orderly.
- Performs basic diagnostics to identify source of trouble and makes necessary adjustments to equipment for safe and efficient operation.
- Works with other technicians in performing preventative maintenance and repairs.
- Check fluid levels, change oil, repair tires.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience working on diesel trucks.
- Able to lift up to 75 pounds and stand, stoop, or bend throughout shift.
- Able to work in non-climate controlled environments when necessary.
- Must have own tools and valid OK Driver’s License.
- Excellent safety record.
- CDL is a plus.
