Job Description

Location & Work Arrangement

  • City, State: Middletown, Pennsylvania (Dauphin County)
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid Currently remote, but expected to attend onsite meetings/work sessions 1 week per month at the Commission's Middletown facilities.
  • Contract: This is a Contract position.
  • Proximity Requirement: Only candidates located 1.5 hours or less from Middletown, PA will be considered.
  • Mode of Interview: Either Virtual or In Person .

Essential Expertise and Scope of Work

The AI Developer will be a hands-on engineer with a strong background in Machine Learning, Azure, and specific experience deploying AI within the Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem to transform customer service.

1. AI/ML Development & Deployment (5+ Years Required)

  • Core Experience: 5 years of experience in AI Machine Learning (ML) development , preferably in retail or customer service environments (Required).
  • Programming & Frameworks: Strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch ) (Required).
  • Cloud & Production: Experience with cloud platforms (Azure) and deploying AI models in production (Required).
  • Model Optimization: Monitor and optimize AI model performance to ensure high accuracy, responsiveness, and customer satisfaction.

2. Dynamics & Contact Center Focus

  • Dynamics Solutions: Hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics Contact Center solution (Required).
  • Bot Creation: Experience creating voice bot and chatbot using Copilot Studio and other Azure AI services (Required).
  • NLP & Analytics: Develop and maintain Natural Language Processing (NLP) models (Required). Proficiency in NLP tools and libraries (e.g., spaCy, Hugging Face, NLTK ) (Required).
  • Integration: Integrate AI capabilities with existing systems such as Microsoft Dynamics Customer Relationship Management (CRM) , website, and mobile app.
  • Voice AI (Desired): Experience with voice AI and speech-to-text technologies (Highly Desired).

3. Strategy, Collaboration & Automation

  • Automation: Identify automation opportunities (e.g., intelligent routing, virtual assistants ) and improve customer engagement.
  • Personalization: Leverage machine learning to predict customer needs and personalize interactions.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with customer service, IT, and data analysis teams.
  • Emerging Tech: Stay up-to-date with emerging AI technologies and retail trends to continuously enhance contact center capabilities.
  • Documentation: Fully document all created work, including technical and functional designs and diagrams and test plans.
