Job Description
We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Early Intervention Special Instructors to join our Infant-Toddler program, serving children ages 0-3 in the Philadelphia area and surrounding counties. Our program offers flexible scheduling options to suit various professional needs.
Our mission is to support families with exceptional early intervention services in a variety of settings, including community childcare centers, clinics, and private homes. Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Early Intervention, Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Child Development, or Family Studies.
At least one year of experience working directly with infants, toddlers, and children with developmental delays in the Philadelphia area.
Completed all state-mandated competencies.
Completion of relevant Early Intervention (EI) trainings.
An MA number assigned and active.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality early intervention services in line with professional standards.
Design and implement learning environments and activities to promote the development of cognitive, social, and developmental skills in infants and toddlers. Collaborate with families and caregivers to create routines that foster daily learning.
Offer resources and guidance to families, helping them understand and support their child's development.
Model strategies for families to implement within their educational environment, encouraging skill-building at home.
Follow all federal, state, and county regulations for early intervention services.
Participate in Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) meetings and ensure goals are met.
Develop and organize instructional plans that maximize each child's learning and progress.
Implement a curriculum tailored to meet the child's developmental goals as outlined in the IFSP.
Maintain timely, accurate, and complete documentation in accordance with county policies and IFSP guidelines.
