We’re looking for a skilled Food Scientist to join our Quality team, bringing expertise in biochemistry and experience in the food industry. This role focuses on quality management, research, and development to ensure FDA compliance. You’ll help implement and improve quality systems to enhance food processing standards.
Responsibilities
~Conduct research, experiments, and quality control assessments to ensure food safety and compliance with FDA regulations.
~Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems and best practices, including HARPC guidelines.
~Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance food processing methods and efficiency.
~Maintain a safe laboratory environment by sanitizing equipment and workspaces.
~Analyze research data, prepare reports, and provide training and support to team members on quality systems.
Qualifications
~Solid understanding of biochemistry as it relates to food science.
~Proven experience managing quality in the food industry.
~Skilled in applying quality control methods.
~Knowledgeable in HACCP guidelines and FDA compliance.
~Strong analytical abilities for research and development.
~Capable of sanitizing equipment and keeping the lab clean.
~Effective communicator for teamwork and stakeholder coordination.
~Highly detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining top quality standards
