HHP Inc. is seeking a skilled and motivated Heavy Equipment/Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Henniker, NH. This full-time role is based out of our on-site garage, which supports a fleet of tractors, trailers, and a range of forestry and heavy equipment.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Weekends as needed)
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: Based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) and routine service on trucks, trailers, and heavy/forestry equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
- Perform scheduled maintenance including oil changes, brakes, drivetrains, and engine service
- Replace or repair components on trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment
- Weld, fabricate, and make structural repairs as needed
- Maintain accurate service records, complete work orders and time sheets
- Monitor inventory and communicate parts needs to Maintenance Supervisor
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all company safety procedures
- Respond to equipment breakdowns, including field service when necessary
- Work with equipment such as Western Star, Volvo, John Deere, Hood, and forklifts
Requirements:
- Valid state-issued driver’s license
- 1–3 years of experience as a Heavy Equipment/Diesel Technician
- Strong mechanical knowledge including hydraulics, diesel engines, and electrical systems
- Ability to read technical manuals and follow service procedures
- Commitment to safety, reliability, and attention to detail
- Have own tools.
