Job Description
We are seeking a
skilled Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing diesel engines and equipment. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Perform routine maintenance on Heavy Equipment, diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with Heavy Equipment, diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems
- Conduct inspections to identify faulty parts or components that need repair or replacement
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and diagnose problems accurately
- Repair or replace defective parts, hydraulics, hydrostatic drives, brakes, air conditioning systems, and electrical systems
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity of diesel engines and Heavy Equipment
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed
REQUIRED SKILLS: - Strong knowledge of diesel engine Heavy Equipment repair and maintenance
- Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues
- Experience with HVAC systems in diesel Heavy Equipment
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems in heavy equipment
SCHEDULE: - 8 hour shift - FULL TIME
- Monday to Friday
- Work Location: In person
PAY: This position starts at:
$25/hr. - $35/hr. (Depending on your experience level)
