Our client is seeking an HRIS Workday Analyst (Recruiting focus) to join their team. This is a consulting role designed to provide light-touch support in the month before go-live and then drive post-go-live stabilization, adoption, and optimization. Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the Workday HCM specialist focused on Recruiting , bridging Talent Acquisition/HR and technical teams.
- Pre-Go-Live (20%) : Assist with training preparation and documentation, and provide readiness input to ensure smooth go-live.
- Post-Go-Live (60%) :
- Act as the functional expert for Workday Recruiting, supporting adoption and optimization post-launch.
- Troubleshoot recruitment-related issues, manage enhancements, and ensure minimal disruption to operations.
- Review and refine recruitment workflows (job requisitions, candidate pipelines, offers, onboarding) for efficiency and compliance.
- Translate Workday system language into clear HR/TA terms for stakeholders.
- Talent Acquisition Enablement (20%) :
- Deliver training, guidance, and knowledge transfer to recruiters, hiring managers, and HR staff.
- Partner with analytics/reporting teams to develop dashboards and metrics.
- Build TA team capability to independently manage Recruiting processes in Workday.
- Collaborate across global time zones to support consistent adoption and usage.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
- Workday HCM certification (Recruiting module preferred) is essential.
- 2–4 years of experience as a Workday Analyst with a focus on Recruiting/Talent Acquisition.
- Hands-on involvement in both implementation/training prep and post-go-live support.
- Experience with Workday Recruiting configuration (Business Processes, requisition templates, onboarding flows, offers, candidate pipelines).
- Exposure to Unit Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Excellent communication skills with proven experience in training and knowledge transfer.
- Additional languages (Spanish preferred) and knowledge of change management principles a plus.
