About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Internal Medicine Physician to join our growing healthcare team. This role is central to providing high-quality, evidence-based medical care to adults, particularly those with chronic or complex conditions. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to long-term patient relationships, preventive care, and managing a wide spectrum of illnesses in adult populations. As the demand for primary and internal medicine increases with an aging population, this position offers long-term growth and purpose-driven work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive outpatient and/or inpatient care to adult and elderly patients.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of adult medical conditions (e.g., cardiovascular, endocrine, respiratory, and gastrointestinal disorders).
- Develop individualized care plans that include preventive, acute, and chronic disease management.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and imaging studies.
- Collaborate with subspecialists and allied healthcare providers to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Educate patients on wellness, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications.
- Utilize EMR systems for accurate, real-time patient charting and documentation.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, case conferences, and peer reviews.
- May supervise residents or advanced practice providers (depending on the setting).
- Maintain compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
- Active and unrestricted state medical license (or ability to obtain).
- Minimum of 2 5 years of clinical experience preferred; new graduates with strong residency training are also encouraged to apply.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with a holistic, patient-focused approach.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR/EMR), patient portals, and modern care coordination tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
Preferred Skills and Traits:
- Experience in a value-based care setting or ACO (Accountable Care Organization) is a plus.
- Multilingual proficiency is advantageous, particularly in diverse patient communities.
- Passion for continuous improvement and innovation in healthcare delivery.
