About the role
Join our Springdale, AR team to operate, maintain, and repair industrial ammonia refrigeration systems that keep our products fresh and safe. This is a hands-on role with a strong safety focus and immediate benefits starting day one.
Key responsibilities
- Install, service, and repair industrial refrigeration systems and related components.
- Perform routine inspections; diagnose and troubleshoot performance issues.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Document service activities and maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Work collaboratively to support a safe, efficient facility.
- Use forklifts, pallet jacks, ladders, fall protection, and follow LOTO procedures.
- Stay informed on emerging refrigeration technologies and best practices.
- Adhere to company and regulatory safety standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum qualifications
- 1+ year Ammonia Refrigeration experience; OR 1+ year HVAC repair/troubleshooting; OR graduate/enrolled in Ammonia Refrigeration technical training. Must be documented in your resume/work history. Strong preference for ammonia experience or education.
- Rehire policy: eligible only after 180 days and if previously employed fewer than three times at this facility.
- Age 18+ with valid Identification.
- Able to use basic hand tools and read/understand work assignments.
- Basic mechanical/maintenance knowledge across HVAC, chillers, boilers, and refrigerants (ammonia preferred).
- Physical capability to lift 50 lbs; climb stairs to 120 ft and ladders up to 60 ft; stand for long periods; and work in hot, cold, and inclement weather.
