Job_Summary:

They are seeking a talented and motivated Data Analyst to support diverse projects that enhance business processes and improve efficiencies across multiple areas.

Responsibilities:

• Collect, organize, and analyze internal and external datasets (e.g. GIS, CMMS, SCADA, Customer Information Systems, Key Performance Indicators, Financial Information Systems, and hydraulic modeling).

• Design, analyze, and visualize data to communicate actionable insights to a diverse audience (e.g., maintenance staff, management, regulators, and the public), using tools such as Power BI, Excel, Tableau, and Azure Analytics.

• Clean and standardize complex datasets, perform qualitative, quantitative, and temporal analyses.

• Work collaboratively with internal teams to establish data standards, maintain data integrity, and create tools to provide products that address stakeholder needs.

• Innovate and inspire business process improvements and operational efficiency for stakeholders through data driven solutions.

• Create data products such as tables, graphs, and statistical summaries to support decision-making and report creation.

• Troubleshoot data issues related to formatting, quality, and documentation.

• Perform exploratory data analysis to extract relevant data and detect inconsistencies, errors, and outliers.

Qualifications:

-Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in data science or related field

• Proficiency with analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Azure Analytics.

• Excellent computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• Experience working with large datasets.

• Ability to align data analysis and processes with stakeholder needs and business goals.

• Excellent communication skills for presenting complex data insights and recommendations.

• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Understanding of data quality control and information management processes.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to identify data trends and resolve data issues.

-Preferred:

• Experience creating dashboards and visualizations (Power BI) preferred.

• Experience with SQL querying and data reporting preferred.

• Familiarity with utility system datasets (e.g., GIS, CMMS, SCADA) preferred.
