The Landscape Department Administrative Assistant is a support position for the Landscaping division, facilitating daily operations with a variety of administrative and clerical tasks.
Answer and direct incoming calls and walk-in customers
Lead intake for design and irrigation leads
Intake and work ticket creation for installation of plants purchased at garden center
Point of contact for customers during the design/construction process
Works directly with design team on proposal follow ups, letting customers know their scheduled project start date, verifying utilities to be marked before projects, customer communication regarding relevant project information
Take payments and create deposits
Oversee accounts receivable and report to Operations Manager on a monthly basis with an overview – refers delinquent accounts to collections
Maintain company Facebook and Instagram pages and update website regularly
Schedule irrigation services
Intake of plant replacement requests
Order office supplies
Performs other related duties as assigned
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Two years of equivalent experience
Good written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge about company products and services, and customer-related policies
Prolonged periods of sitting
Ability to work during the week and weekends as needed
Ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods of time
Ability to be a team player, as well as work independently
Ability to multi-task and be detail oriented
Ability to work efficiently, thoroughly and follow directions
Maintain a regular, dependable attendance record
Be 18 years of age or older
