Job Description
This is a Remote position, but the ideal candidate will live in the Eastern Time Zone area for business needs.
Mission:
Support in the preparation, processing and auditing of payroll data, information, records and reports; including tax reporting, compliance, and filings.
Scope:
The Payroll Analyst reports to the Payroll Manager – North America and processes payroll functions for beeline, U.S. and Canada.
Role Expectations:
- Assists in ensuring accurate and timely processing of the biweekly and weekly payroll functions.
- Audit and reconcile payroll data, including timesheets and off-cycle payments
- Research, evaluate and ensure that payroll issues and discrepancies are resolved in a proper and timely manner.
- Participates in the reconciliation of employee timesheets from Salesforce to SAP HCM.
- Respond to inquiries and resolve compliance issues concerning federal, multi-state and local payroll tax jurisdictions.
- Monitors status of Payroll processes and resolves or escalates issues as needed.
- Reviews and processes bonus and severance payments, and off cycle payments.
- Responds to internal requests via company ticketing system.
Immediate Critical Outcomes:
- Thorough understanding of company payroll software processes (SAP HCM system and Salesforce) (First 30 days)
- Develop effective relationships with District Managers and 3rd Party Vendors (First 60 days)
- Ensure continued compliance with payroll-related laws and regulations (First 90 days)
Critical Experiences:
- Minimum 3-5 years payroll processing experience.
- Demonstrate knowledge of tax withholding, garnishments and labor compliance.
- Experience processing payroll for PT non-exempt, and salaried employees.
- Working knowledge of MS Office –Excel, Word.
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent experience.
- ADP and SAP/HCM experience (preferred).
- FPC or CPP certification (preferred).
