Pizza Chef Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Pizza Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of traditional Italian pizza-making, from hand-stretching dough to managing a wood-fired or stone oven. You’ll be responsible for ensuring every pizza that leaves the kitchen is made with precision, consistency, and artistry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to our signature recipes and standards.
- Manage dough production, including mixing, proofing, and portioning.
- Operate and maintain pizza ovens (Gas brick oven.)
- Ensure proper inventory, rotation, and storage of ingredients.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant workstation at all times.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to refine recipes and develop specials.
- Ensure all dishes meet presentation and timing standards.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as a Pizza Chef in an Italian restaurant or pizzeria.
- Skilled in dough-making and oven operation.
- Strong understanding of Italian ingredients, sauces, and flavor pairings.
- Excellent time management and teamwork skills.
- Passion for high-quality food and guest satisfaction.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience in creating new regional Italian dishes.
- Familiarity with seasonal menu planning and ingredient sourcing.
