Plant Manager – Assembly Operations
Our client is looking for an experienced Plant Manager with Assembly Operations experience for their facility in Phoenix.
Note: This is a growing operation with 50 employees currently.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years working as a Plant Manager in an Assembly operation in a Lean Manufacturing Operation
- Experience implementing Lean & with Lean initiatives.
- Ability to coach and motivate employees
- Strong project management skills
- Proven record in training employees about safety and production
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations
EDUCATION: BS degree in a relevant field, such as Engineering, Operations, or Business
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee manufacturing/production staff & processes, ensuring efficient and timely production and the achievement of production goals while operating within budget.
- Leading and implementing lean manufacturing practices and initiatives.
- Developing and implementing production plans.
- Determining the resources needed, setting schedules, and allocating tasks to ensure timely completion of production goals.
- Overseeing production processes by en suring that all steps in the manufacturing process are followed correctly and efficiently.
- Ensuring quality standards are met.
- Identifying and addressing production bottlenecks.
- Analyzing production data and identifying areas for improvement
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Managing costs and ensuring production activities are completed within budget.
- Hiring, training, and evaluating production staff.
- Creating a positive and productive work environment.
