Responsibilities:
- Consult with patients in clinic or hospital settings
- Review patient medical histories
- Examine legs, ankles, and feet to diagnose illnesses or injuries
- Perform X-rays and scans
- Treat injuries and deformities using casting, laser therapy, or surgery
- Prescribe orthotics and medications
- Order diagnostic tests like ultrasounds and bone density scans
- Educate patients on foot care and therapeutic practices
Requirements
