Position – General Production Operator
Job Location – Minneapolis, MN
Employment Term – Temp-to-Hire

Work Hours (Shift) – 1st Shift (7:00 am to 4:30 pm)
Starting Pay – $21.00
Job Summary:
As a Production Operator, you will play a critical role in the manufacturing process, ensuring the efficient and safe production of materials. This position involves operating mixing equipment, handling raw materials, and packaging finished products while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning of equipment, plant facilities, and waste disposal.
- Utilize SAP for inventory management and ensure accurate stock rotation.
- Operate tub washers and scales for ingredient handling and weighing.
- Maintain ingredient traceability throughout the production process.
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot mixing equipment to ensure smooth operations.
- Follow designated procedures for combining ingredients in the correct sequence.
- Conduct preliminary quality checks on products to ensure standards are met.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintaining a clean, hazard-free work environment.
- Actively participate in all plant safety programs, training sessions, and initiatives.
- Follow all standard operating procedures related to production tasks and responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Basic computer skills with the ability to learn batch ticketing systems (EBT) quickly.
- Strong math skills, including working with percentages.
- Ability to repeatedly lift up to 55 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Experience with batch manufacturing processes is highly desirable.
