This is a 2nd shift position. 

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of production schedules
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Collaborate with the quality control team to maintain and improve product standards
  • Develop, implement, and adjust production schedules as needed to meet organizational goals
  • Monitor production processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions
  • Manage, train, and support production staff to foster a high-performing team environment
  • Evaluate equipment performance and coordinate maintenance to minimize downtime
  • Prepare and maintain accurate production reports and documentation
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment and achievement of production targets
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise
  • Maintain adequate inventory of raw materials and supplies to support uninterrupted production

Qualifications

  • Five or more years of experience in a production management role, preferably in the meat manufacturing industry
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in production management software
  • Technical proficiency with manufacturing equipment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to analyze data and develop actionable plans
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
