This is a 2nd shift position.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of production schedules
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with the quality control team to maintain and improve product standards
- Develop, implement, and adjust production schedules as needed to meet organizational goals
- Monitor production processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions
- Manage, train, and support production staff to foster a high-performing team environment
- Evaluate equipment performance and coordinate maintenance to minimize downtime
- Prepare and maintain accurate production reports and documentation
- Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment and achievement of production targets
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise
- Maintain adequate inventory of raw materials and supplies to support uninterrupted production
Qualifications
- Five or more years of experience in a production management role, preferably in the meat manufacturing industry
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in production management software
- Technical proficiency with manufacturing equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to analyze data and develop actionable plans
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
