Public Safety Officer
Location: Power & Light District – Kansas City, MO
About the Role
We are seeking dependable and professional Public Safety Officers to join our team in the Kansas City Power & Light District. The ideal candidate will help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for guests, tenants, and staff throughout the property.
Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security of property and patrons
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies in a professional manner
- Observe, report, and document any unusual activities or safety hazards
- Assist local law enforcement or emergency personnel as needed
- Provide excellent customer service to guests and tenants
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to pass a background check (no felonies or serious misdemeanors)
- Prefer candidates with a current Kansas City Private Security License (or ability to obtain one)
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance required
