Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Functional Tester (10 years) with strong Salesforce exposure to support testing activities across complex enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in functional testing, Agile delivery, test strategy development, and domain knowledge in Utility Assets and GIS .
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and collaborate with Program Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, and Mapping teams to define comprehensive test strategies.
- Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
- Execute test cases, track defects, and manage defect lifecycle using JIRA/HP ALM .
- Work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Validate application features and workflows for the TOMS (Transmission Outage Management System) application.
- Ensure end-to-end testing coverage across application deployments and enhancements.
- Provide detailed test documentation, reports, and metrics for stakeholder review.
- Leverage domain expertise in Utility Assets , GIS systems , and enterprise field operations.
- Salesforce testing experience is highly preferred and considered a strong plus.
Required Skills
- 10 years of hands-on experience in Functional Testing
- Working knowledge of Salesforce (highly desirable)
- Strong experience with JIRA and HP ALM
- Expertise in Utility, Asset Management, and GIS domains
- Demonstrated ability to create, execute, and document test strategies and test cases
- Experience working in Agile methodologies
- Strong communication and analytical skills
