Job Title: Quality Control (QC) Manager
Location: Wichita, Kansas
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Control (QC) Manager to oversee quality assurance processes for a construction project on a military base, specifically for the Army Corps of Engineers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality control within the construction industry, particularly with federal government projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments of construction work to verify adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and site personnel to identify and resolve quality-related issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation of quality control processes, inspections, and reports.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including clients and regulatory agencies, to ensure project requirements are met.
- Provide training and guidance to project staff on quality control practices and procedures.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of subcontractors and suppliers to ensure quality compliance.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of five years of experience in quality control within the construction industry.
- Proven experience working on Army Corps of Engineers projects and familiarity with their procedures.
- Strong understanding of federal government construction standards and specifications.
- Experience managing projects with a value of at least $1 million; experience in projects valued between $2 million and $5 million is preferred.
- Proficiency in using software platforms such as Bluebeam; experience with other construction management software is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

Salary Range:
- $115,000 - $130,000, commensurate with experience.
