We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector for our Plastic Injection facility located in Lapeer MI. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of plastic injection molded parts to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Utilize measuring tools and equipment to assess product dimensions and quality.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality metrics.
- Identify and report any defects or non-conformities to the production team.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement corrective actions.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.
- Assist in training new team members on quality inspection processes and standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in quality assurance is a plus.
- Previous experience in quality inspection, preferably in plastic injection molding.
- Strong understanding of quality control processes and inspection techniques.
- Proficient in using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
