An investment management firm in New York City is currently seeking an experienced professional to join their staff as their new Real Estate Fund Accounting Manager.
Responsibilities: The Real Estate Fund Accounting Manager will:
- Calculate waterfalls, management fees, carried interest, strike NAV packages, etc.
- Confirm if they've reviewed or worked on partners capital, capital call / distributions
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications: - 5+ years of Public / Private Accounting and/or Fund Admin experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or a related field
- Fund Accounting experience
- Strong understanding of fundamental Accounting knowledge, including Credits, Debits, etc.
- Microsoft Excel proficient
- Solid analytical, mathematical, and research skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
Desired Skills: - Private Equity Real Estate experience
