Job Description
• The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
• Establishing and implementing a comprehensive safety management system (SMS) that covers warehouse, logistics, and office operations.
• Developing, reviewing, and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to safety, fire prevention, chemical handling, and heavy equipment operation.
• Conducting risk assessments and safety audits regularly; ensuring corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) are implemented and tracked to closure.
• Managing incident investigation processes — identifying root causes, creating preventive measures, and reporting to management and regulatory agencies.
• Providing OSHA-compliant training programs for employees, contractors, and site visitors; maintaining accurate training records.
• Collaborating with warehouse managers, logistics teams, and 3PL partners to integrate safety standards into daily operations and continuous improvement projects.
• Leading emergency response planning including fire drills, evacuation plans, spill response, and first-aid readiness.
• Monitoring environmental impact and compliance (air, water, and waste management).
• Acting as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies and corporate safety auditors.
• Reporting safety KPIs and improvement plans to leadership; maintaining dashboards for tracking leading and lagging indicators.
• Must be able to travel to other HUB or warehouse sites for inspections and training (up to 30–40%).
Qualification
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
•Minimum 3–5 years of experience in industrial or warehouse safety management.
•Proven expertise in building and maintaining safety systems across multi-site operations.
•In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and relevant federal/state regulations.
•Strong leadership and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
•Experience conducting safety training, audits, and accident investigations.
•Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
•Certified Safety Professional (CSP), OSHA 30-Hour, or equivalent certification preferred.
•Proficiency in MS Office, SAP/EHS modules, or digital audit platforms.
•Bilingual communication (English/Korean) preferred for multinational coordination.
