Job Title: School Nurse
Location: Missouri (school-based setting)
Duration: Academic Year / Contract
Responsibilities
- Provide health assessments and routine screenings for students.
- Administer first aid and emergency care in case of accidents or illnesses.
- Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate health records.
- Educate students, families, and staff on health, nutrition, and safety topics.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and healthcare providers to support student health.
- Monitor immunization compliance and assist with health-related policies.
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Missouri (required; BSN preferred).
- Previous experience in pediatrics, school nursing, or public health strongly preferred.
- Current BLS/CPR certification .
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with children and families.
