Title: Scrum Master

Location: Canada-Remote

Duration: Contract Long term

7+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment At least 3 years in a senior or enterprise-level role. Proven experience in Agile transformations and process improvements at an organizational level. Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), or other enterprise Agile methodologies. Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or equivalent Agile certifications, preferred. Experience working with cross-functional teams and Agile teams that are not software development oriented required. Experience with Agile Infrastructure and Security teams preferred. Experience with Agile frameworks beyond Scrum (Kanban, Lean, XP, etc.) required.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Scrum Master to lead Agile delivery for cross-functional teams, ensuring successful execution of IT projects through best practices in Scrum and SAFe methodologies. The ideal candidate will facilitate all Agile ceremonies, drive continuous improvement, coach teams, and manage Jira/Confluence reporting for effective stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives, PI Planning).
• Guide teams on Agile principles, fostering collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
• Identify and remove team-level impediments; escalate broader issues when needed.
• Coach Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and teams on Agile best practices.
• Optimize Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence to support Agile workflows and reporting.
• Create and maintain performance dashboards and executive-level reports.
• Track key Agile metrics (velocity, cycle time, lead time) to assess team efficiency.
• Support Agile maturity and process improvements across the organization.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of Scrum Master experience, including 3+ years in enterprise Agile environments.
• Strong experience with SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, and Agile transformations.
• Expertise in Jira, Confluence, and Agile reporting tools.
• CSM, SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or equivalent Agile certification preferred.
