Job Description
Salary: $85,000 - 108,000 per year Requirements:
- I require an Associate degree in a technical field along with 7 years of experience.
- A strong understanding of construction, mechanical, electrical, or HVAC systems is essential.
- Proficiency in control theory, automation systems, and low-voltage integration (LON, BACnet) is necessary.
- You should be able to articulate technical concepts to individuals without technical backgrounds.
- Advanced computer skills are a must, particularly in drafting tools such as Visio.
Responsibilities: - System Design & Configuration
- I expect you to design intricate building control systems for contract documentation.
- Create flow diagrams, operational sequences, Bills of Materials (BOMs), network layouts, and schematics.
- Develop and conduct tests on software programs for system operations.
- Project Coordination
- Prepare submissions and installation diagrams.
- Select, order, and monitor materials.
- Coordinate schedules for factory mounting and delivery.
- Commissioning & Troubleshooting
- You will be loading and commissioning system/network controllers.
- Validate system performance and address issues with subcontractors.
- Documentation & Communication
- Provide field change updates for as-built documentation and software.
- Keep stakeholders updated on progress and challenges.
- Conduct training sessions specific to the site for system operators.
- Quality & Safety
- Participate in release meetings and implement value engineering methodologies.
- I expect adherence to safety standards and the promotion of a high safety awareness culture.

Preferred Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in engineering along with 5 years of experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with IP networking and the Tridium/Niagara Framework will be advantageous.
Hiring Salary Range
- The annual salary is between $85,000.00 - $108,000.00 USD. The exact salary will be determined based on the candidate's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and market alignment. We offer a competitive benefits package.
