Job Description
The Senior Snowflake Engineer will lead the development and optimization of Snowflake-based data solutions to support portfolio analytics, client reporting, compliance, and investment research for our Private Wealth Management client. The role requires hands‑on experience with data modeling, ELT/ETL design, performance tuning, and integration with financial systems.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in data engineering, with 3+ years specifically in Snowflake development.
- Proven experience working with data in a Private Wealth, Asset Management environment.
- Strong SQL skills and ability to optimize complex queries and data pipelines.
- Deep understanding of Snowflake architecture, role‑based security, and performance optimization.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Shell.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control (Git).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Snowflake Certification (SnowPro Core or Advanced).
- Understanding of financial products such as equities, fixed income, mutual funds, and alternative investments.
