**Position Summary**
We are excited to invite an ambitious and talented professional to join our team as a Survey Team Leader in our growing Greenville, SC office. In this role, you will focus on the fundamentals of land surveying while adhering to our general standards. You will play a vital role in supporting the survey team with day-to-day field operations, including planning and reviewing Tree & Topographical Surveys, As-built Surveys, Record Drawings, Boundary Surveys, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, deed and plat research, and performing fieldwork as needed. As a Survey Team Leader, you will oversee all aspects of surveying projects, from fieldwork to data analysis and reporting.

**Requirements**
**Minimum Requirements**
- **Education:** Bachelor's Degree preferred
- **Licensing:** South Carolina Professional Land Surveyor License (PLS) required; North Carolina Professional Land Surveyor License (PLS) required
- **Experience:** 10+ years of progressive experience in land survey field operations and land survey office operations
**Essential Job Functions**
- Lead a team of surveyors to ensure efficient and accurate data collection.
- Oversee all aspects of field survey operations, including equipment setup and quality control measures.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements at all times.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients in the survey division for this region, addressing concerns and providing exceptional customer service throughout the project.
- Demonstrate proficiency in surveying equipment (specifically Trimble equipment), TOTAL STATION, GPS, GIS, and Civil3D.
- Manage survey data processing workflows and provide regular project updates to clients, ensuring satisfaction and adherence to timelines.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and professional standards governing land surveying activities.
- Provide training, coaching, and professional development opportunities for team members.
- Manage surveying team budgets and lead land surveying projects from initiation to completion.
- Promote a culture of safety awareness and ensure compliance with health and safety protocols and regulations.
- Possess relevant knowledge of FEMA floodplain mapping and state-specific surveying requirements.
- Conduct precise measurements and assessments of land and properties.
**Desired Skills**
- Experience with drone piloting.
