Job Description
Summary We are seeking a Daycare Teacher to join our team in the capacity of caring for children while they are at our facility. The position offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children in an exciting and fun environment. We are looking for an individual who is comfortable with the idea of being on their feet a great portion of the day and can provide active play for children at our daycare facility.
Full time positions may be available.
Duties Primary Responsibilities - Greet every parent or child in a cheerful, upbeat and joyous manner
- Plan, organize, and implement "Learn through Play" Instructional Curriculum in a Christian learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfil their academic potential.
- Create age-appropriate lesson plans and incorporate handwriting, crafts, games, hands on activities, field trips and daily homework to support curriculum.
- Maintain a small group by monitoring the children's safety
- Must be able to lift, pull, push, or hold 20-30 pounds
- Establish classrooms rules and behavior procedures
- Enforce all student administration policies and state governing rules
- Report physical or developmental problems that may require further attention
- Update parent(s) via email, school app or telephone
- Serve meals and snacks in accordance with nutritional guidelines as well as recognizing and documenting allergies of each child
- Maintain the cleanliness and neatness of the facility and all its parts (ie: bathrooms, classrooms, kitchen, etc.)

- Background check required
- 1 year of professional childcare experience (Preferred)
- CPR/First Aid certification required
